When you sign up to the Lip Service Alliance, we collect your first name, last name and email address. We do not collect anything else, and we do not ask you for any other information.

We use your details to send you updates about the Alliance, our publications and our work. We do not sell your information, rent it or trade it. We share it only with the email service that delivers our messages for us, and only so that they can deliver those messages.

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. If you would like us to delete your details entirely, write to info@lipservicealliance.org and we will do so.

We keep your details for as long as you want to hear from us. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from our list.

Our website collects basic, anonymous information about how many people visit and which pages they read. This is not linked to your name or email.

Our founder is also a co-founder of a company that makes lip care products. We think you should know this, so we are telling you plainly rather than waiting to be asked. Our board holds an independent majority. Our founder recuses herself from Alliance decisions that would affect that company. The company holds no special status within the Alliance, receives no preferential treatment under any standard or assessment we publish, and is subject to the same criteria as every other company.
